Morzine is a great destination for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. As part of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is situated in the heart of the largest ski area in the world with 12 linked resorts and 650 km of tree-lined slopes straddling the French – Swiss border.

More than just a ski resort, this charming village has plenty to do away from the slopes. Morzine is still a working village – picturesque and steeped in history and tradition – and situated close to the Mont Blanc in the Haute Savoie region of France it’s one of the most easily accessible alpine resorts. Geneva Airport is only 80 minutes drive and Calais is 9 hours on the road.

Morzine offers all the facilities one would associate with a modern ski resort but with an abundance of options away from the slopes. There is an English language cinema, ice skating, ice hockey, paragliding, health clubs, massage, swimming pools, saunas, excellent restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs.

The high altitude snow-sure and car-free resort of Avoriaz is easily accessed by either the Prodain cable car or Super Morzine telecabine. Avoriaz sits on top of the vertical cliffs of the Vallee des Ardoisieres and offers a truly spectacular setting for skiing and snowboarding or maybe just relaxing and enjoying the far reaching views.
