We are pleased to welcome back Connor for a second season. Connor is a talented young chef from Bury St Edmonds.
He has a passion for good food and his experience was gained at Pea Porridge, Bury St Edmunds, where he contributed towards the accolades of 2 AA Rosettes, Michelin Bib Gourmand and UK best new comer 2010/2011 of the Hardens guide. Before that Connor gained valuable experience with a 3 month stagiaire working at Midsummer house, Cambridge, a 2 Michelin starred establishment run by Great British Menu regular Daniel Clifford.
Connor worked last season in the kitchen at La Ferme D’Elise and produced an imaginative and varied menu. We invited Connor out at the beginning of September to work alongside photographer John Hutchinson to produce the images for our dining section and food gallery of the new website. If you think his food looks good well we can tell you it tasted even better and that was all done on the night of his 21st birthday! that’s dedication, thanks again Connor.
He is currently travelling in S.E Asia before returning to the UK in November, He is a keen snowboarder with plans to continue his travels to work in New Zealand next year and yes we think he does bear a uncanny resemblance to Jamie Oliver too!
